Mr. Oyama's Blog (Minamisoma city councilor) Feb. 27th & 29th
On Feb 27th, It was found from the samples of the black-colored
substance taken at Shin-Ogawabashi Bridge in Minami-Soma that it was
actually highly-concentrated radioactive substance which is mainly
consists of blue-green algae with 1,060,000 bq/kg of radiation per
kilo. Moreover, it was also found that the substance has spread in a
lots of places in the city.
The algae grows everywhere and it seems that it has absorbed cesium,
has blown off in the wind or flown in the rain and, as a result, has
accumulated. It even floats in the air and release spores.
I lobbied some authorities to take action but couldn’t get good
response. Police didn’t even receive the report of the result.
Unfortunately, Japanese government has designated the safe level of
radiation exposure per year 20mSv, which used to be 1mSv before the
earthquake, which means they have been trying to hide the serious
crime that politics and nuclear interest groups committed at the
expense of explosion-affected people. http://mak55.exblog.jp/15506696/
On Feb 29th, reports on the black substance that we had found were
handed out in a committee meeting on the nuclear plant accidents, open
to public. I’m a member of the committee and one of the main members
who have been working hard on this matter but I have never been told
about that report.
It never mentioned a report on the black materials written by a
professor of Kobe University that we had received and had concluded it
has too high level of radiation and residents must not be exposed to
such a substance with no protection.
Also, it only emphasized the gamma radiation in the air and repeated
there was no unusual figure measured. But now I’m talking about
seriously too high level of the alpha and beta radiation in the
substance. http://mak55.exblog.jp/15506696/
